Little steps can mean big gains to losing weight

Sometimes if we take small steps and not try to bite off too much too soon, we will make bigger strides in the long end.

You are not going to drop 50 pounds like dropping a dime, you are better thinking in short term goals and watching as your long term goal gets closer and closer. That's the most assured way of losing that poundage your so desperately trying to lose.

Happy stepping,

Dave

Compare Notes

Most of you have friends who are also dieting and hoping to lose some pounds.

In an effort to make it more beneficial to both of you, compare your notes to see the progress you are making. You know there is more power in numbers and one is the loneliest number of them all.

Happy noting,

Dave

Best time for meals?

Some people have found they tend to lose more weight when they eat later, rather than earlier. It can help you a good deal to see when the best time for your meals are. If you have a job that has steady hours for your lunch and or other meals, it's a different situation. Most of you should be able to have dinner at a certain time and if you do, it could benefit your diet to find out the time most likely to eat your last meal of the day.

Happy dining,

Dave

Have fun losing weight

Of course losing weight will be fun when you have achieved your goal weight but in the meantime, while on your game plan you should have fun. Have a contest to see how close you are to the day when you can say you reached the weight you set out to weigh.

Have fun,

Dave

Keep Records

Not the plastic ones either.

When you begin your weight loss program or any program, make sure you are keeping track of everything you do pertaining to the diet or weight loss.

You may want to write down when you are eating your meals and how much or less the diet is helping with that function.

It is a well known fact when we eat more food that we need to we expand our stomach capacity, therefore, we need to reverse this process and eating less will help it contract a little at a time.

Keep those records,

Dave

Stick to it

The one factor that you must overcome in any program is the tendency to want to give up. It is critical that you stick to it and remind yourself you are in it for the long haul.

Too often we find excuses to quit something that we feel is isn't working. In any thing that takes time, you may not see immediate results but that doesn't mean it is not working. Allow time to pass and don't judge something so fast.

Stick to it and results will come,

Dave

Teamwork?

Everybody needs somebody or words to that effect was a well known song. Not sure how many years gone by but the message is the same. When you're going into something, regardless of what it is and attempting to lose weight is certainly something that having another person to support you and talk you through the experiences can only help you do better.

Sort of like a cheering section rooting you on.

Rah Rah Rah! Lose that weight, lose that weight!

Salads are very Important

No matter what weight loss program you are involved in, it is most beneficial to eat salads. Salads will not add weight but certain salad dressings can. You can't go wrong if you use lemon juice (Fresh squeezed is best) and a small amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, along with your favorite seasonings. In fact some high class restaurants use that as their house dressings.

Eat those salads,

Dave

Exercise is a good thing

Many people prefer to sit all day whether they are working or surfing on a computer. Even if you only get out a short time, it is very helpful as well as very healthy to walk!

Walking is the great exercise that we all can benefit by.

Get out and Happy walking,

Dave

Don't get depressed

As with anything that we do, it is easy to get yourself feeling down when we don't succeed at first. When you begin a program or diet to lose weight, you have only begun and there are going to be days where you may not see the progress you are hoping to see. That doesn't mean you are not losing the pounds or that the program you're on isn't succeeding. It just takes time and that's the key to any program, time.

Just keep the goal in your mind and take baby steps, you will eventually reach what you set out to do. Remember, little steps will get you to the bigger ones and because you have begun, you already have taken the biggest step of them all. The 1st one!

Happy dieting,

Dave

What would losing weight mean to you?

Funny how losing weight means so many things to different people. Woman and men both want to lose those pounds because they believe it will make them more attractive to their partner or mate, that's a very good reason but sometimes the health issues are really more important. Of course no one wants to have diabetes and other risky problems by having too much weight. It is very important to think about how your quality of life can be when you reach that goal you wish to. To best help you achieve your dream weight, concentrate on where you would like it to be and continually focus on your goals. You will have a much better outlook for reaching them instead of just taking diet pills or being on other products and not giving that much mental attention to what you desire.

Happy dieting,

Dave

Not all weight loss created equal

It is interesting how so many different products circulate on the market and more are added each day. The most important task you have is gathering information on the ones that pique you. Research the pros and cons of each and then make your decision. It does no good if you accept any product that you will be placing into your system, without finding everything out about that product. Consult with any authoritative figures you know and somethimes they can help you on your quest.

Good luck all,

Dave

Celebrities and weight loss - Help!

Ever wonder what's behind the looks and bodies of all those celebrities, sports stars and past runway models? You know the ones I mean. A famous television daughter here, a Hall of Fame Football Player there and just for good measure, a retired football coach.

It's difficult to turn on your TV or read a magazine or newspaper and not see their faces pop up like a jack in the box.

They have all the back of the companies which endorse them for starters. These companies will spend unlimited dollars to make the celebrity look just like they want them to. It can make millions of dollars for the diet or weight loss corporation.

These giants of the diet industry know that most people will follow the stars and this makes their job easier. Of course the average person only sees the final results and what that football quarterback has at their disposal. For one, these men and women who once graced the playing field or appeared in serial comedy programs viewed by millions, have coaches to motivate them, fitness trainers to get them exercising in some of the most elite health spas and to top that, they are getting paid for doing all of that. The only cost to the celebrity is their time to do it. They are well compensated for every second. You and I aren't so fortunate.

You can certainly go to a health spa, run a mile a day and swim 100 laps but you certainly won't have an expert on your back giving you speeches of how by doing all of this you will make a couple hundred grand.

Oh, definitely the spokesperson who can make upwards of a cool million bucks, will tell you and the listening public how the scrumptious meals made them into a skinny minny or a buffed male centerpiece or that luscious milk shake has trimmed 40 pounds from their carcas.

The simple reality is this. They have groups of people with far more incentive for the star to lose weight than the average man or woman. It's amazing what you can do when you have an entourage behind you.

Which brings us to you, the most important one when it comes to your diet. Not a high paid guru who will charge you 100 dollars an hour to tell you to run longer or lift more or stroke faster.

If this is a bit out of your realm than we recommend something that could help you attain your weight loss but won't cost you a mint.

Tired of those weight and diet commercials?

Are you as sick and tired of those many weight loss and diet commercials on television and radio as I am? You know the ones in which sports stars and Hollywood celebrities show us their new thinner and more toned bodies. The companies which make the products they endorse have all the money and reasons in the world to make sure they look good. The celebrities have the time and motivation to look that glamorous, thin and fit. They have top fitness instructors and state-of-the art facilities which make it easy for them to get into the best shape of their lives. You and I don't have a professional pushing us hard to obtain our maximum effort nor the motivation or time to work that hard. After all, we are not posing for the cameras or signing autographs for scoring touchdowns!

So where does that leave you and I, average people who need to lose weight? Unless you have lots of time and money, and who among us does these days, you are right back where you started. Can you afford the spas, gyms or weight loss vacations that the rich and famous can afford? Probably not, particularly because those celebrities and sports figures are paid by the weight loss and diet companies they represent and you're not. If you're like the rest of us, you need the best results with the least output of both time, energy and money!

So here is the way to achieve the weight loss results you have been searching for for years... introducing Hungarest A real breakthrough in weight loss control. Hungarest works in your brain as well as your stomach to help you achieve the ultimate in weight loss but more importantly, keeping the weight from coming back!

New product Akvar

I don't know about you guys and gals but when they come out with a diet product that says you can eat as much as you want and still lose weight, I have to question that.

I thought the less you eat the more weight you lose. What am I missing here?
Stay tuned for more on this product when I find out some info.

Why is weight loss more difficult for some and easier for others?

A girl I know just asked me that question as she was searching for a weight loss product that will take around 70 pounds off of her.

She told me she previously was on the diets that you have to buy so much food a month and besides the expense, she wasn't thrilled with the test or the results.

I told her that if she asks some friends to recommend what they use or their friends use, she could make a fairly good guess as what she may see working. I know with the number of available products it is a very difficult decision but others using something that works is a step in the right direction.

New fads can be same results

Many of my friends are on diets and doing whatever they can to lose weight. With hundreds, if not thousands of methods, it is so easy to get confused besides frustrated.

How do you find what works best for you and without spending a fortune doing it?
I am not sure there is one simple answer to this question but research is most important before trying a new product. I would also consult with your doctor or an experienced dietitian.

Weight Loss Alert

If you watch any TV or listen to the radio, I am sure you are bombarded with all the various weight loss and diets that seem to multiply each day!

There seems to be a never ending stream of these type ads. What do you do when trying to find something that will be most helpful to you?

Where do you go and to what do you turn?
